Copacabana Desire Hotel

I remember when I was a youth and my older brother was courting his first girlfriend.  We used to ride around in that old 57 Chevy station wagon that our father had handed down to him.  Back in the 60’s driving around Marin County, the California coast line was just spectacular, especially in the spring time on a clear sunny day!  Bright yellow flowers nestled in a bed of florescent green fields stretched for miles.
My brother had this great teenage romantic flair; he would all of a sudden pull the car over, jump out pick a handful of flowers and run back to the car with a miraculously conceived gift of love for his gal!  As a young man I was so impressed by his wizardry with women, and their reactions which were always awe and amazement.  It never failed to bring out huge smiles and lots of hugs and kisses from them.  He was the master in those days and I looked up to him.

Those were the days of free love, flower girls everywhere and music in the air.  Now days I never forget the power of flowers or as they used to say in those days “Flower Power”.  Weather it’s the roadside flowers for your lady or the bouquet from the florist, I learned early on women always love flowers!

Down here in the rain forest just 5 degrees above the equator, the flowers bloom year round from the tropical sun and the sweet warm rain.  Costa Rica is the place where you can pull over anytime of year rush out and grab a bouquet of roadside flowers and make your gal feel in love all over again.

At the Copacabana Desire Hotel in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica there will be a Tropical Fantasies week from April 23 through April 30, 2011.  There will be nightly entertainment on the outdoor beach stage and the Ocean Waves restaurant on the beach patio.  It may be live music, shot contests, body painting, BBQ pool parties at your choice of nude or clothing optional pools at this truly adult hotel.  So bring your special someone and head to the beach for a romantic flower power week in the sun.  The entertainment calendar includes 6 nights of on site activities, singing and dancing, and rockin’ to 3 different live bands.  Tuesday nights hear the country’s finest Argentinean guitarist Koco and his somewhat reggae band the Wetbacks. Wednesdays brings out Wild on Wednesdays with the ladies shot competition, and that’s the one where they take it from between the legs and the gals get the white cream all over their faces.  Thursday night’s Karaoke brings out the local Tica starlets who love to sing and dance like something you northerners have never seen before! Friday nights you’ll be grinding your soles in the sand of the beach dance floor as your listening to the mostly blues music of Mouse in the Toaster! Saturday nights we’ll revisit the 70’s with the classic rock sounds of BenJammin’ and the Howlers!  And we’ll close out the weekend with Sunday night’s live Latin music show with Scott and Allysa.
