Finally got our tax return check and the first thought that came to my mind was let’s go coupling in Costa Rica.  I Googled the word “couple” and Costa Rica vacations seem to have a little more lure and came up on the first page more than once.  There was a movie and something about a golfer but mostly tropical romantic stuff.  So I pulled up my Taca Airlines bookmark and got us a couple of round trip tickets out of San Francisco for a weeks stay in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica.

If you’re planning on traveling to Costa Rica for vacation one of the hardest decisions you have to make is where you do want to go?   There are so many things to do from volcanoes with hot springs, rich coffee plantations, zip-lining in the rain forest, the beach and of course the night life.

Every day literally millions of us metropolitan industrialized commuters are held captive for 40 to 60 hours a month in our cars.  The eco-systemic properties of a Los Angles freeway environment typically exceed our body’s maximum daily amount of toxins.  And this excess which is ingested through our pulmonary systems and skin is more than we can organically metabolize and builds up in our tissues.  As a society our minds and bodies have been programmed to live with a slight daily dosage of poisoning from our own environment which we have created.

The new Matt Damon and Clint Eastwood movie “Hereafter” was just released on DVD and Blu-Ray.  The picture is incredibly clairvoyant as it opens with a huge tsunami scene just like the ones we’ve been watching recently on CNN.  The movie is about a psychic, played by Matt Damon, but is in real time telepathically depicting a scene similar to something from the March 11, 2011 earthquake which was just 80 miles off the north east coast of Honshu, Japan and had a magnitude of 9.0.

Je vous aime, how beautiful those words are in any language. In English, "I love you", in Spanish "Te quiero" or "Te amo". And how we love to hear the murmur of those words spoken ever so sweetly, as the touch of her lips can be felt on your ears.

I remember when I was a youth and my older brother was courting his first girlfriend.  We used to ride around in that old 57 Chevy station wagon that our father had handed down to him.  Back in the 60’s driving around Marin County, the California coast line was just spectacular, especially in the spring time on a clear sunny day!  Bright yellow flowers nestled in a bed of florescent green fields stretched for miles.
