Stroll along the main street in Jaco Beach and you'll find it clean, well maintained and with eclectic art forms such as Pedro the Pistol Packing wooden statue protecting nothing really! You'll see surfers walking on the east side of the road with their boards because it's wider - it’s not that there are crowds on the streets but in the evenings the town has a vibrant night life - and the infamous Beetle Bar is on that side of the street - coincidence? Not!. On the beachside of the street are trendy boutiques, cafes and small intimate bars, including several trendy clubs ranging from sports themed through nightclubs and lounges.

A variety of open-air cafes with an easy beach town atmosphere. There's even North American shops such as BillaBong, Subway and KFC for a bit of down home cooking. It's safe with a police presence there but unobtrusive. There's a medical center right in town to fix surfing mishaps, with a police station next door for more serious issues. Jaco Beach is a real town with ameniies found in a bigger city - pharmacy, doctors, real estate agencies and more. It's a laid back town centered around the Pura Vida lifestyle!

Getting to Jaco Beach

The hotel has direct private transfers to San Jose airport and there's a helipad at Los Suenos just outside of Jaco Beach. Closest airport is at San Jose which about sixty minutes away by car.
